Tips for Searching

When inputting the start point – you may get an error saying ‘the start point could not be found’ – to correct this simply type the start point with the UK suffix for Example : skipton, uk – this will overcome any glitches in the Google Map.

Bug in Google Maps – Bradford Areas seen as Queensbury

Sometimes, when typing in an address into Google Maps for directions – the Map Engine sees some areas in Bradford and classes them as Queensbury – this is a bug in Google Maps and should be ignored.
Google have been notified about this, but so far have not actioned anything as the bug has been present for well over a year now!
